We do practical landscaping across Melbourne's western suburbs. Crushed rock driveways and paths, garden beds, edging and small retaining walls. The kind of work that makes a yard usable and tidy, done by the same team that maintains it afterwards.
Crushed rock is the big one. Driveways, side paths, a parking strip down the side of the house, a base under a shed. It drains well, it holds up to a car, and it costs a fraction of concrete. We dig out, lay the base, compact it properly and finish the edges so it does not spread into the lawn after a month.
Garden paths and stepping stones through a bed or down the side of a house. Garden bed edging in treated pine, steel or concrete so the mulch stays where you put it. Small retaining walls, the sort that hold a step in a sloping backyard or lift a garden bed off a lawn.
We also strip out and rebuild tired beds. Old plants and weeds out, soil turned over and improved, new plants in, mulched and watered.
We are not a design firm. We do not do pools, decks, pergolas, concreting or anything that needs a building permit. If the job needs a licensed trade we will tell you that on the quote rather than having a go at it.
That is deliberate. The work we take on is work we can do properly, and it is the work that actually gets a yard looking right for most houses out here.
We come out and look at it with you. You get a fixed price, in writing, with the materials listed, so there is no bill at the end that is bigger than the number you agreed to.
Most of what we do is one or two days on site. We let you know which day we are starting, we work through it, and we leave the site clean. Spoil and offcuts go in the trailer, not in your bin.
No. We stick to crushed rock, garden beds, edging, planting and small retaining walls. Anything that needs a building permit or a licensed trade is not our work, and we will say so on the quote.
Yes. Rock, soil, mulch, edging and plants are all listed on the quote with the price, so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
Most of our jobs are one or two days on site. A bigger bed rebuild or a longer driveway can run to three. We give you the number of days with the quote.
Always messages the day before and does a fantastic job mowing, edging and cleaning up afterwards. If anything else needs doing round the garden Mitch always has time to do it.
